Level 2 Part 1

8th Beat Run of Beat

Level One teaches to count with the notes as they are being picked from the strings of your Guitar. If you did your homework and were faith full to your practicing by now you should have brought these two in to alignment with each other, picking the strings and voice counting at the same time.

Now's its time to reverse Level 1 saying count with the notes as they are being picked from the strings and Graduate to Level 2 were we say, pick the string "note" on Demand as we count. When we voice count One and Two and Three and Four and, a total of 8 Beats, we are pushing the rhythm pick across the strings in a stop go stop go manner, picking the strings at the same time on Demand. Now both our voice count and picking the strings are in alignment and on Demand with each other. This is necessary to have control over moderate and rapid picking.

8th Beat Run of Beat

An 8th Beat Run of Beats is a row or column of 8 individual equal Beats picked in one direction one after another with Rhythm Pick. In an 8th Beat Run, all 8 Beats have the same value in common musical timing and all 8 Beats are equal to each other. The Whole Distance in level 1 is a 8th Beat Run of 8 individual equal Beats picked in one direction one after another. There is a run of 8 Beats where each measure has 8 Beats per measure. There is all so a run of 16 Beats where each measure has 16 Beats per measure. 8th Beats and 16 Beats are both in an even way but they are not equal to each other in there count and value in common musical timing. 8th Beats do not have the same value as 16 Beats. 16 Beats do not have the same value as 8th Beats. Both are 2 different amounts and one is greater than the other
